IWC Schaffhausen is pleased that Sellita CO SA in La Chaux de Fonds (VD) is a partner for the production and supply of watch movements. The two companies have jointly developed and produced a new movement, in which the wide-ranging expertise of trained IWC watchmakers has played a decisive role, guaranteeing that the movement complies with Schaffhausen’s usual quality standards. Named after Sellita’s founder, Pierre Grandjean, the “Grandjean” movement will be used solely and exclusively in IWC watches. The movement is found in the new Portofino Automatics, while the other new Portofino models are equipped with different calibres.
