was not sufficient to obtain your understanding.



We would like to inform you that the marking of “JAPAN” or “MADE IN JAPAN”

is in absolute compliance with the Japan Clock and Watch Association’s standards.



Although it means that we manufacture our products in absolute compliance with the standards,

the standards also allow for the fact certain components of our watches may not be fully sourced

in Japan.



While we respect your criteria, our watches are of impeccable quality, whether the marking “JAPAN”

or “MADE IN JAPAN” is engraved or not.



We are sorry if being unable to guarantee the sourcing of all components would preclude

your owning a SEIKO watch.
