Rare Audemars Piguet on block at Antiquorum

New YorkA rare timepiece from Audemars Piguet will be among the top attractions when Antiquorum hosts its "Important Collectors' Wristwatches, Pocket Watches and Clocks" auction on Sept. 26 in New York.
High interest is expected for Audemars Piguet's "Jules Audemars: Tourbillon Repetition Minutes Chronographe," Ref. 26050PT. Made in 2006 and sold on July 25, 2007, it is a rare, large, minute-repeating, platinum gentleman's wristwatch featuring a visible one-minute tourbillon regulator, round button chronograph and register. Its pre-auction estimated value is $200,000 to $300,000. Other timepieces of interest are from Patek Philippe, Rolex and Jaeger-LeCoultre.
The auction will be held at Antiquorum USA in the Fuller Building, 595 Madison Ave., Fifth floor, in New York and will run in two sessions, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Previews will be held in Tokyo on Sept. 15-16; Hong Kong, Sept. 18; Los Angeles, Sept. 20-21; and New York, Sept. 23-26.
