"These boots are comfortable right out of the box, and they look great, and the sole is decent, but the leather is very poor quality. It is thin (I've owned wallets made of thicker leather), and it absorbs water, even after several treatments with leather oil. Buy these only for the most casual wear; they will not hold up to serious use."
