More specifically, the timepiece gives nod to very early aviation instruments used high above the battlefields over Europe. Granted, the shock-resistant resin casing still houses the modern solar-powered analog movement G-Shock is best known for, but the strap and the casing’s protective snap cover are made of full-grain leather. The leather strap is also slightly longer than a standard wrist strap, for a proper fit over a bomber jacket or flight suit.
