А как на счет системы Sympathique Breguet

Чудеса механики
The Sympathique clock is a system comprising a clock and a watch. The clock being designed to hold the watch which, when placed in a recess, is automatically adjusted and reset. Abraham-Louis sold only five examples, all different, before his death in 1823 (and Antoine-Louis only one, in 1830). Louis-Clément Breguet installed an additional feature to his second-generation version of the Sympathique, whereby the also watch was rewound (some fifty were sold). In 1991, a third-generation was perfected.
This is a verbatim explanation (albeit condensed) of the Pendule Sympathique:
The mechanical clock invented in the 14th century is not a closed-loop feedback control system, but a precision open-loop oscillatory device whose accuracy is ensured by protection against external disturbances. In 1793 the French-Swiss A.-L. Breguet, the foremost watchmaker of his day, invented a closed-loop feedback system to synchronize pocket watches.
The Pendule Sympathique of Breguet used a special case of speed regulation. It consisted of a large, accurate precision chronometer with a mount for a pocket watch. The pocket watch to be synchronized is placed into the mount slightly before 12 o'clock, at which time a pin emerges from the chronometer, inserts into the watch, and begins a process of automatically adjusting the regulating arm of the watch's balance spring. After a few placements of the watch in the Pendule Sympathique, the regulating arm is adjusted automatically. In a sense, this device was used to transmit the accuracy of the large chronometer to the small portable pocket watch.
