My name is Ivan, owner of vario.sg and just to clarify the enamel we use on our 1918 dial is industrial enamel and they follow a similar process as vitreous (also fired in kiln and they're not enamel paint) but they are used for industrial purpose like your enamel kitchenware. We don't claim we use vitreous enamel as stated on our product page because the price will be much higher. Our enamel is a modern process, looks the same and less brittle but of course I understand watch lovers will love the old school vitreous that comes at a higher price naturally.
