Rosewood table clock with 9 silver plated bells, from England from circa 1890.
The clock is in the original, late 19th century condition.
The movement is a so-called eight-day movement and it functions properly.
The beautifully made decorated silver plated dial is signed by the maker, Cousens from London.
Two melodies on the nine-bell musical mechanism.
Quarterly strike with melody.
Strikes a gong on full hours.
The fusee movement has three spring barrels wit the original chains!
The melody can be turned off.
Wonderful decorated wood sound apertures on both sides.
The pendulum can be fixed for transportation.
