Similar to a car tuner, then several parts are replaced by better or more refined ones, all parts are then examined and refinished, finally the in-house produced modules (as far as the watch has one) are added. For example, the power reserve/small second modules of the Marine series are developed and produced inhouse, as are those of the Ulysse 1, and of course the special movements, like that of the Freak and the Sonata."
