Like the Aquaracer 300m, the new 500m model uses TAG Heuer’s Calibre 5 movement (shown above in the first-gen Aquaracer 500m), which can be either an ETA 2824-2 or the Sellita equivalent, the SW200. The movements are being used interchangeably, so two identical watches in a store may have movements from different suppliers.
