Кстати, все дело оказалось в том что поддерживает производитель стандарт ISO 2281 или нет (кстати, достаточно давний). Вот что у Suunto по этому поводу написано:
"Our products are tested with ISO (International Organization for standardization) standard 2281. This means that product is water-resistant.
In addition to the term "water resistant" watches may be marked with an indication of a test overpressure given as a pressure in bars (3bar / 10bar) or as a depth in meters (30/100 meters). These indications however do not correspond to a diving depth but refer to the pressure at which the water overpressure test was conducted.

This means that it is not possible to dive to a depth of 30/100 meter with Suunto outdoor or training wristop computer. Rain, shower, swimming and other normal exposure to water will not affect its operation but the buttons shall not be pressed under water in any circumstances."

Suunto Core с измерителем глубины промаркированы как 30м.
По своему опыту, во всех японских часах которые у меня были можно спокойно плавать с WR50 (30 м у них не видел), это и в инструкции написано. Я даже спокойно плавал в касио с просто WR без метров, по молодости правда.
