Maurice Lacroix CEO to Become Audemars-Piguet New Boss
Philippe Merk has been appointed CEO of the Audemars Piguet Group effective January 1, 2009. He will stay onbard Maurice Lacroix Holding and its subsidiaries until the end of October 2008. Georges-Henri Meylan will continue to act as CEO of Audemars-Piguet until December 31, 2008 and assist in the transition of his successor.
ML thanks Mr. Merk for his achievements at Maurice Lacroix during the last 7 years, during which the brand has seen very positive developments and wishes him much success in his future assignment. The firm stresses that no changes are being pursued regarding brand strategy.
