I am very glad that I've found this forum! :) I am an aviation watches collector, located in Sofia, Bulgaria.

My recent passion are Poljot Russian watches. Hopefully I will be able to locate the watches that I am after in the Forum's Sales corner. Will be nice to have discussion regarding various timepieces...I need to apologise beforehand, as my Russian is rather rusty.

Yes I can see that not much is going on on the English section, but fortunately for me I am speaking a little Russian...I am from that generation which had Russian lessons in school. Strugling a bit with my Cyrilic keyboard, as we have some minor differences in the alphabet :)

Anyways, the forum is great and informative! Keep up the good work!

your Russian is way better than mine. I have to read and it takes me ages going through the cyrillic alphabet to make sense of it...

I'm looking at a Steinhart (coincidentally, a Russian B-Uhr limited edition available only on this forum :D ) or a Stowa aviation watch (Beobachter-Flieger-Uhr to be precise). Any recommendations from your wealth of experience? I like the Stowa for its refined look, and the Steinhart for its aesthetics. Although the Stowa is more 'original' than the Steinhart, I think the Steinhart's look and size and design has a lot going for it ;)
