С частотой тоже не все так просто... Lemania принадлежит Бреге (ну, т.е. Swatch Group). Раньше сторонним заказчикам они поставляли модули на 2,5 Гц, в то время как себе делали 3 Гц, но сейчас это стало накладно, производить два различных варианта... Посему Вашеронам стали продавать 3 герцовые. Чтобы не было вопросов - VC в числе любимых и собираемых марок. И происхождение калибра из 40-х для меня не есть минус... However, I would like to suggest a few corrections concerning the movement in this new VC Cornes de Vache. The movement it utilizes is the Breguet 2320/533.1. Although it is true that the lineage extends all the way back to the 1940's when it debuted as the Lemania 27-70, it is really not correct to call it a Lemania movment any longer. Nor is it correct to say that Vacheron modified it. The Hayek's bought both Breguet and Lemania (along with Valdar) in 1999. Lemania ceased to exist after the beginning of 2002 when it was merged into Breguet, following the first of four major expansions of the workshops in L'Orient in the Vallee de Joux. Finally after nearly 14 years, it is time to recognize that these movements are not Lemania but Breguet. Breguet did extensive modifications to this caliber in recent years, including changing the balance to free sprung with inertial regulation and increasing the frequency from 2.5 HZ to 3 HZ. Vacheron did not do this modification as the article says. Indeed Vacheron for decades has been a customer relying upon this movement and its predecessors for its manual wind chronographs (there was one exception many years ago when, for its doctors watch, VC bought a non column wheel Lemania movement, usually used by Omega ). Vacheron is not alone in its purchase of this caliber from Breguet, as Patek, Roger Dubuis, to name a few used it as well. Until recently Breguet did not supply VC with the 3 HZ version of the caliber. VC could only buy the 2.5 HZ version. However, when it became too cumbersome to produce two versions, Breguet began supplying the new modified version to Vacheron. There is one dimension to the article which you don't address: why, having just developed its first in house chronograph movement for the Harmony, did VC not use it for the Cornes de Vache? I can only speculate that since the Harmony is a monopusher and the Cornes de Vache is a two button chronograph, VC did not want to incur the expense of modifying its new caliber. In any event, it is important to correct the record on "who developed and modified" this movement....100% Breguet. And for that matter, Vacheron's automatic chronograph in the Overseas line uses a Blancpain movement. |
Сергей, я встречал информацию, что патент на Леманию 27-70 сейчас принадлежит Roger Dubuis (Ричмонд), поэтому VC указывают его как мануфактурный. Clymer c Hodinkee ставит правильный вопрос почему не использовали мануфактурный Caliber 3300. И тебя не смущает 43 мм корпус? Хотя, скорее здесь будет смущать цена :D

Честно говоря, я на цену не смотрю, так как и эту модель на себе не вижу... Нет, она безусловно хороша. Но, как ты правильно заметил, цена кусается...
Я только сегодня получил предложение за такие же деньги взять кое-что от кабинотье ))) Но тоже не проходит. Вот если только в подарок ))) Что касается калибра - да, ты прав... Почти синонимы ))) А вот с омеговским 321 они синонимы как есть А вот чем дальше по сабжу смотрю, тем больше разных нестыковок. Например, тут уже определяют 1141 как производное от 2320.
