In homage to F. A. Lange, we are proud to present the 1815 TOURBILLON HANDWERKSKUNST. It is our fifth Handwerkskunst edition featuring extraordinary dial and movement decorations: its black-rhodiumed pink gold dial is decorated with elegant tremblage engraving and the tourbillon bridge and upper part of the cage are elaborately black-polished. Limited to 30 watches, the special-edition model is available in a pink-gold case with a diameter of 39.5 millimeters.

The "Handwerkskunst" watches from A. Lange & Söhne represent probably the highest end of what's already a very high end watchmaking company: the combination of very demanding and very refined traditional movement design and finishing techniques with some of the most exotic and unusual decorative methods in engraving and other horological crafts. Watches like the Zeitwerk Handwerkskunst take what are already extremely elevated watches to a whole new level of appeal. Let's take a look at the latest addition to the Handwerkskunst family of timepieces, and see what Lange has cooked up for the finale celebration of the 200th anniversary of this most defining of Saxon watchmakers.

The first of the A. Lange & Söhne Handwerkskunst (the word means, approximately, "craftsmanship" in German, "handwerk" meaning crafts, and "kunst" meaning art) watches was the 2011 Richard Lange Pour Le Mérite Handwerkskunst; and back in 2012 the Zeitwerk Handwerkskunst was released. It was followed in 2013 by the Lange I Perpetual Calendar Handwerkskunst and in 2014 by the Lange 1 Tourbillon Handwerkskunst.

The 1815 Tourbillon Handwerkskunst is identical to the 1815 tourbillon in most respects. Its case is 39.5 mm x 11.1 mm and like the 1815 tourbillon, it has (very unusually for a tourbillon) a stop-seconds (hacking) feature, which by virtue of a Y-shaped lever that is able to stop the balance without fouling against one of the pillars of the tourbillon cage, allows the watch to be set to the second against a reference time signal. The ability to set the watch accurately (and, after all, a tourbillon you can't set to the second is a bit of a violation of the spirit of precision that led Breguet to invent the tourbillon in the first place) is further augmented by the presence of a reset to zero function: the seconds hand returns to the zero position when the crown's pulled out, further enhancing precision time-setting.
Case, dial, and hands are in pink gold. The big news here is the dial: it's decorated with the "tremblage" engraving which has become something of a signature for the Handwerkskunst watches. This may look simple but it's a fiendishly demanding technique. The engraver uses a burin (a very fine tipped, hardened steel engraving tool) to make thousands of minute incisions in the surface of the metal. The marks may look random but they are anything but – each mark must be made so as to provide the best contrast to those around it, and the technique requires great skill, as well as great intuition as to how to make the entire composition succeed.
The Lange & Söhne 1815 Tourbillon Handwerkskunst is a limited edition of 30 pieces worldwide. Movement, Lange caliber L102.1, hand wound, adjusted in five positions; plates and bridges made of untreated German silver (maillechort) three-quarter plate with granular surface and hand-engraved inscriptions; seconds bridge engraved by hand.
Final pricing is subject to change but Lange tells us it'll be roughly in the range of $181,000 USD.

Класс. Циферблат великолепен, ну и отделка механизма в схожей с циферблатом стилистике тоже добавляет шарма.
