I'm French, I do not know any Russian even if I would like to learn it someday. I like Soviet watchmaking very much, and I'm trying to build a small collection (< 10 watches for now) with "interesting" pieces. So far, I managed to find some nice classic watches : an early Strela marked Poljot, an Okeah, a Vympel, a very good looking Start,...

Recently I came across a modified type 1 prewar chronograph for a good price. It works OK, but the dial look newly made. What do you think?

The movement has two serials, 9478 under the balance wheel and 014? on the bridge. No obvious logo, just something like an "H" under the wheel. Is it possible to date this?
