For hundreds of years, Native Americans used bison hides as their main source of protection, bedding, and as canvases for their artwork. In honor of this proud beast and how it sustained countless communities, we crafted this three-eyelet boat shoe using the finest bison leather. Serving the same purpose as it did for the tribes of the West, this material offers a strong barrier from the elements while its fundamental suppleness makes you feel like you are wearing a slipper and not a hard-soled camp moccasin. When paired with rawhide lacing and the handsewn contrast stitching on the raised toe and kicker, the leather's natural markings take on a handsome patina that will only get better with age but also fit in perfectly with your casual attire. Add in the staunchness of the Vibram® rubber sole and you've got a do-everything shoe worthy of the animal that inspired it.
