Time gauge or clock?

Dear all, can anyone help to find out which term is better to use to describe the following item (pic below) GAUGE or CLOCK?

The purpose is to use it in official document for English speaking engineers.
Thanks.

Dear anna1403,

As I can see from your picture, it is an aviation clock (in Russian technical literature called "авиационные часы"), probably model "АЧС-1М".
So I suppose the term "aviation clock" will be correct.

You can find an additional information about it (including dials description) here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?...18&postcount=5

Best regards,
PocoLoco

Update.

I checked English-language suorces. The term "aviation clock" is used regarding this instrument, but more often the term "aircraft clock" is used.
Also (but less common) the term "aircraft cockpit clock" is used.

So I suppose for English speaking readers the term "aircraft clock" may be more correct.

PocoLoco Thank you. I was trying to find a general term to describe this item cause it can be found not only in an aircraft but also in tank or ship. But as i see term clock is better and more common than time gauge. Thanks again for help.
