Parents' watches given to you....
Вложений: 1
Does anyone here have any of their parents' watches given to them?
Thinking that there is some connection through generations, I suppose I tend to keep mine safe instead of risking damaging it. Here's mine anyway - it's a minimalist Rado - I've never seen another one (quite as plain) like it. Be interested to see yours :) |
No one here has parents who have given them watches?!
Maybe everyone's are kaputt....! |

Are grandparents' watches suitable? :)
Here you are, - Rolex Ladies' DateJust made in some 1952-1954. Watches had been given to me in memory of my Granny. |
Sure they are :)
Lovely classic watch. I love this one in silver too (the gold one looks too attention seeking). Youve kept it in great condition too! |

I have my grandfather’s watch called ZIM. They were presented him by the chief of military troops.

Grandparents count too :)
That's a very distinctive blue face. I haven't heard of Zim - are they still in production? It's great having a watch with a family legacy like yours. Thanks for showing. |

Here's some other Zims I found:

I suppose they were probably in production back from the 1930's at least ... none of these examples look much older than the 1970s'. |
This LNIB I was given by my father:
