I think this handmade inscription is really interesting.
Was the 250099 type ever traced back to 1988? Maybe not.

Ok.. If trust to the engraved, this w.watch has been gift to the first owner in 1988.. That's rather interesting - as I know, the catalogue we used to identify such type of Amphibia watches has been dated 1990 or 1991.
It could means that the first batch issue year was before 1990, it could means also that these wristwatches clear USSR development product. That's really cool.
