Понедельник - день тяжелый, устрою дегустацию: nikka pure malt black, dalwhinnie 15, irishman как оцените, а то меня сомнения гложут.
Вообщем, dalwhinnie 15 не мое, остальное - отвратное пойло, если остальные японцы все примерно такие же, то - не мое. О вкусе сужу после дегустации talisker 10 и bruichladdich port charlotte оба понравились каждый по своему. Первый освежающий, +специи, второй сладкий, дымный.

Ралфи его в 91 балл оценил... а те что вам понравились в 89 и 88 соответственно.
P.S. Это к местному спору о баллах. :)

А ведь хотел взять lagavulin 16 да местный "продаван" хочет ~ 7 000,00 руб.:eek: Но, "скупой платит дважды".

The Irishman 'Single Malt' (40%, Hot Irishman Ltd, +/-2009)
Two stars Matured for over a decade, limited to 1,000… cases, States the label. Good one.
Colour: pale gold.
Nose: this is much straighter than the Tullamore (tout l’amour, say my compatriots), starting much more on pear and pineapple drops, but it gets then a tad spirity and oddly woody. Cold tea, then hints of incense, tinned litchis and maybe a little crushed fresh coriander. Whiffs of wet iron. An unusual nose, not unpleasant at all despite a growing meatiness that’s a tad offbeat.
Mouth: a tad weird in the attack, slightly weak. Gets then much closer to the Tullamore – almost similar in fact. Pear drops and vanilla, hints of Parma violets.
Finish: shortish, on peppered pears.
Comments: I like this one a little better than the Tullamore, it’s more complex on the nose.

Dalwhinnie 15 yo (43%, OB, +/-2013)
Three stars Another one I haven’t quite followed in recent years. Mind you, the last version I’ve tried had been bottled around 1995. Mea culpa…
Colour: gold.
Nose: rather less polished that I remembered, starting with some farmy notes (hay, farmyard) as well as a blend of barley water and eaux-de-vie (plums). After that, a little fresh butter, caramel cream, grass, pollen and wood smoke. Also a little butterscotch and wee metallic touches (old coins).
Mouth: same feeling of farminess if I may say so. Grass and hay, some candy sugar, plum eau-de-vie, chocolate, malt and ‘rough’ honey (chestnut). Its even a little wild, kind of uncommercial, whatever that means. In the background, that smokiness again (wood).
Finish: quite long, a little acrid, grassy, malty, still quite farmyardy. Liquorice wood.
Comments: certainly a Highlander in style, rather than a Speysider.

Тут дело не в количестве баллов (при 100 бальной системе первые 70 не используются и служат возможно, для уменьшения размерности дальнейших оценок), а в принципиальной открытости верхней границы системы оценок.

Дополню о nikka - мягкий, легко пьется, но послевкусие ИМХО - синтетика (ацетон?) не мое! А при такой цене никому не рекомендую, лучше взять проверенного "шотландца".

Про ацетон ни от кого что-то не слышал ...
