In addition to our friend's post:
The Israeli IDF "Navy Seals" is called "Shayetet13" and who ever wants to learn more about this unit can google this name.
As for the watch they are using: In the early days of this unit (70's) the official diving watch was the Swiss made ETERNA Super Kontiki. http://scubawatch.org/kontiki_idf.html It came with a sterilized back case from the factory, and the IDF had it's prints on the back case. Those watches are a rare collectors items today and exchange hands for $3,000 - $5,000 depending on the condition of the watch.
Later to that, the Japan made SEIKO divers watch was adopted as the "official" diving watch of the unit. At first the SEIKO divers 150m Automatic, later replaced by the SEIKO divers 200m Quartz. For a short period of time (2-3 years during the late 80's to early 90's) the SEIKO divers 200m Kinetic was adopted, but then neglected in favor of the SEIKO divers 200m Quartz again - till this days.
