1) Q:How long have your company produces watches
A:We have produced wrist watches since 1957, more than
half century.

2) Q:How many models present in the sales
A:Now approximately about 150 models (250 items) for
Japanese market.

3) Q:What is the average price of watches (F.O.B.)
A:The retail price sold in Japan ranges US$40 - 700.
Export model price would be ranging FOB US$20 - 150.

4) Q: Do you sell watches outside of Japan.
A:RICOH branded watches are sold only in Japan while
OEM (buyer's brand watches) are available for over-
seas market from our Hong Kong office.

5) Q:What is the country of origin of watches
A:Some of them are produced in China with our own
movement while we have "Made in Japan" watches for
high end products.

6) Q:Where it is possible to see detailed picture and
technical data for wrist watch (except for your site)
A:Sorry but the web site is the only means to show models.

In addition to the above answer, let me comment as below:
If you have your own brand name, we can produce your watches.
This business is carried out in our Hong Kong office under
our supervision. Those watches are exported to USA, Europe,
Middle East., and so on.

With regard to the RICOH branded watches, we are selling it
only in Japan, not for overseas market, for the time being
due to our company policy.

Принес сегодня на Вятскую часы Ricoh (70 год механика ,автоподзавод ,день недели, дата )спросить сколько будет стоить смазать ?
Ответ после недолгой паузы ответ - даже крышку снимать не станем , вдруг сломается что.
Мораль - приобретая Ricoh будь готов к самостоятельному обслуживанию.

Мораль такова, что приобретая Ricoh, часы будут тарабанить и тарабанить, как минимум 10-ку, если не работать молотобойцем. Что касаемо обслуживания, в серьезном понимании этого термина, то жителям страны, кроме СПб и Москвы, приходится учиться самим обслуживать, либо преобретать часы в которых следует периодически менять батарею. Бренд довольно уважаем в 70-ые годы в странах Ближнего Востока.

Появились у меня ещё парочка моделек этого бренда. Позже выложу фотки. Часики древние но ходят нормально.

А мне вот отец подарил свои старые часы которые уже долго не носил оказались Ricoh, помню в конце 70х привез ему друг с ближнего востока

А как вам такие? Форма корпуса очень комфортная , цифер живьём очень хорошо выглядит.

In 1962, Hamilton entered into a joint venture (60% owned by Hamilton) with the Japanese watchmaking firm Ricoh to produce electric watches meant primarily for the Japanese market. The electronic components were produced at Hamilton's Lancaster factory while production of the mechanical works and final assembly was undertaken in Japan. Although production levels of Hamilton-Ricoh watches was high (over 1000 per month), demand was low and consequently, the Hamilton-Ricoh partnership was unable to compete with the substantial market presence of Seiko. The partnership was dissolved in 1965, with the remaining Hamilton-Ricoh electronic movements (marked "Ricoh 555E") re-cased as "Vantage" and sold in the US.

Кстати, на аукционе инДжапан.ру видел штук пять винтажных Ricoh в отличном внешнем состоянии. Как они пишут - никогда не использовавшиеся. В общем всеми любимый на еБее - NOS.
