Hi Olivier Fans!
We are happy to announce that last week our first Swiss ETA movement divers were assembled, packed and shipped off to their respective owners. Each day we are assembling and shipping as many ETA and Miyota divers as we can. There has been some confusion on exactly what it takes to get one of our watches out of the door, and the number of emails we receiving each day is more than we can reply to in a timely manner. We are building these watches one at a time, they go through multiple quality control checks, and then are packed with care before finally being shipped off to their owner.
We are a very small operation, and it is at times like these where it's felt the most. If we aren't assembling, we are packing, if not packing, we are shipping, and if not shipping, replying to the overwhelming number of emails every day, and we know it's not a perfect system. When I started Olivier last year, it was purely out of my love for watches. I am not a businessman, this is my first business venture, and I am very lucky to have so many of you willing to share tips and tricks as we move forward. We are learning every day the best way to run our business, and we are listening very closely to your input on how we can improve. We have been looking into an easier way to keep everyone updated about what is going on at Olivier, and we will begin posting more frequent status updates to our TWITTER account. The assembly and shipping process leaves us with very little time in front of the computer right now. Twitter will allow us to update all of you on the go.
We know that the waiting is difficult, and we appreciate your patience as we get through the remainder of our assembly. We know many of you are very anxious to finally get your Olivier in hand, please know that we are working as fast as we can while still maintaing the highest standard of quality control.
Sincerely,
Roland @ Olivier Watches
